- Helping Close Contact Services Meet Guidelines from July 4th onwards

29/06/2020 |, the marketplace that connects everyday people with service providers such as plumbers, electricians, hairdressers has launched. After a beta web app with a handful of sellers and users, launched the marketplace for the public a week ahead of the 4th of July to help “Close Contact” services, such as hairdressers, barbers, beauticians, tattooists, sports and massage therapists and fashion designers meet Government guidelines, by operating an appointment-only system online to avoid queues and hold customers details for as long as you need it whilst still being GDPR Compliant.

Hailed as “AirBnB meets LinkedIn and TripAdvisor”, also helps every day job seekers find jobs in this tough market by publishing their portfolio of work on the marketplace and gaining reviews for the jobs they do.

For example, a waiter/waitress can build their profile on the marketplace, which takes a few seconds and have restaurant managers book Book them as required. The restaurant manager can then leave reviews once they have received the waiters’ service., and getting reviews at the end. The same applies to actors, cleaners, baby sisters, the list is endless. It is simply “Hiring as a service” at your fingertips for people in need of help.

Although Bookazi’s main focus is currently on helping close contact service providers get back to work, its overall aim is to become the marketplace to go to for services of all kinds.

To celebrate Bookazi’s launch, Bookazi is offering the first 100 service providers1 to 1 service, so that they do not have to spend time on building their FREE profile. Sign up here

Refunds and Cancellations

How do cancellations/refunds work for bookings?

For a full refund of the service, the customer must cancel at least full 24 hours before the service’s booking time (shown in the confirmation email). The service fee will not be refunded unless the client cancels within the free cancellation period for their booking.

How long does it take to get a refund?

We send refunds immediately upon cancellation and they usually show up within 3-5 days, but sometimes it takes as long as 15 days before they reflect on the original payment method. In some countries, such as Brazil and India, it can take up to 2 months for the refund to arrive.
